Today I read the first
rule in the book “100 Social Rules For Kids”. This rule was about a friendly
greeting. First of all, I think I need to improve on greetings. I don’t usually
greet friends the way the book says I should. I need to make eye contact and
hold it, and talk. In the past, I didn’t say anything when I met a friend, so
the situation became really awkward. I think I should say something like “Hi”,
“How are you doing”, or “What’s up”. Also, I need to change the tone of my
voice and the look of my face. My
default voice is cold and hostile or just bored. My expression usually suggests
a gloomy, cloudy, bad, or grouchy day. All in all, I have a lot to learn from
this rule!
